Black screen after BIOS update: computer won't boot up and shows a black screen after you updated BIOS. No display after BIOS update: computer turns on but there is no display on the monitor, so you can't access the system. Infinite loop/Endless loop: PC keeps restarting after BIOS update.
The bios update is an .exe, and we have no idea how we are supposed to run it from a linux os. I feel like wine is waaaaay too risky for something like a bios update. Link to lenovo's site with the bios update in case you see something I don't.

I have also seen that it is recommended to disable legacy boot on FullHD systems to get rid of the black blinking screen issue. After making the changes in the BIOS and booting Mojave the internal display becomes garbled and unreadable (photo and screenshot attached), but the external HDMI-to-DVI monitor is still perfectly usable.
Not sure what to do. The computer comes to live and shows the logotype "Lenovo". Then, nothing, black screen. The fan goes like crazy but nothing happens. Can't enter any recovery menus. I've made all the possible checks on the hardware through BIOS and all are green. Can't start it up in safe mode for some reason (maybe because it's Win 10).
